Rattlesnakes can be found in the United States in the west and southwest but also in other southern regions. The Rattlesnake gives live birth to their young and they are able to care for themselves at birth. The rattle is a button at birth but after the baby rattlesnake sheds its first skin the empty rings begin to form and one is added after every shed.
